Planting the Crop Mob Seeds
15 Mar
The Crop Mob Bosses (we couldn’t resist the name) got together at 5 Seasons Brewing recently — a great supporter of the local food movement with some really tasty beer —to chat about all the exciting things to look forward to with Crop Mob – Atlanta. We’re pretty pumped up about all the potential and can’t wait to hear your ideas on April 10th.
We’ve already started getting a few requests from farms and look forward to filling up the Crop Mob calendar with one Mob a month. We’ve also begun forging relationships with some great restaurants like Miller Union, committed to supporting local food and the farmers who produce it. There’s even a Crop Mob t-shirt design in the works so you can sport your Mob pride all over the city!
There’s some exciting stuff taking root here, Mobbers! Tell everybody you know with an interest in sustainable agriculture and the local food movement or just getting dirty and having fun. Welcome to the Mob, folks…this is bound to be a good time. Can you dig it?
See you April 10th at the Crop Mob Kickoff!
Your Mob Bosses

Hey!
Please contact me I’d love to be a involved partner in all things Crop Mob Atlanta. I have already set up a farm work day with Love is Love farm on the 17th of April. If you can round up people for the event it would be great! I posted the event to the Crop Mob Facebook page.
